Description
Three Deaf adolescents onstage try to do something together. They are all in the time of life when understanding and being understood is so difficult, when childhood melts away and you’re somewhere between loss and celebration.
After exploring the difficulties of language and communication in Treballs forçats [Forced Labour], the young creator Nico Jongen is once again working with deaf people, this time to talk about adolescence.
What happens when the future no longer harbours a clear promise? What does it mean for a Deaf adolescent to listen, communicate or understand?
It is a show under Ànima Lliure, in partnership with the Fundació Banc Sabadell.
