After successfully premiering at the Teatro María Guerrero in April 2026, this striking tour de force of stage discourse, the hallmark of El Conde de Torrefiel, is now coming to the Lliure. As if watching a collision, the audience will be the eyewitnesses who look, assess and ultimately interpret what is happening onstage. This is their lexikon. As Aristotle wrote: ‘Humans are able to savour the world through conversation’.

The decrepit dream of an editor, a member of the Royal Spanish Academy who speaks via a puppet, a tourist journey around Documenta in Kassel… LEXIKON, which literally means collection of words, is a collection of tableaux, of narrated stories that showcase the enigma and power of human communication.
